Riverfront Theater
The Riverfront Theater at 650 W. Chicago Avenue is Chicago's newest destination for music, theater, dance, galas and more. Now in its second season, Riverfront Theater and River's Edge have become known to Chicago audiences as the place to go for great times and great entertainment. With an amazing location on the Chicago River, Riverfront provides organizations with a dramatic, unique and flexible theatrical space. The area includes indoor/outdoor climate controlled venues, located alongside the picturesque Chicago River and easily accessible by public transportation.


The Riverfront Theater tent is ideal for concerts, festivals and corporate events. The 70-foot tall, 22,000- square-foot tent is equipped with rigging and lighting equipment. It has a flexible seating configuration with capacities up to 1,500 seated and standing up to 2,000.

The Pavilion tent, with open views of the river, is 3,600-square-feet and can accommodate events in any weather, with removable sides, heating options and outdoor space. With Banquet seating capacities up to 250, the Pavilion is ideal for corporate events, weddings and large celebrations.

The River's Edge promenade area creates an urban garden feel. This area offers an outdoor stage, seating area and separate bar located along the Chicago River.
